A native of Nova Scotia, I was employed in the Registrar’s Office at the University of King’s College in Halifax, NS until I recently moved to Ottawa. I’ve loved contributing detail-oriented customer service to an institution I love.

In 2009 earned my BA in Religious Studies and Classics from the University of King’s College. During my undergraduate degree I focused on the history of the New Testament and Sufi poetry and philosophy.

I graduated with my MA in Library and Information Studies from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS in 2012. I spent my time researching information literacy, the social aspects of reading, and the history of the book, particularly the Qur’an.

I’m interested in public librarianship, religion, and the history of the book; particularly when they intersect. I enjoy reading and writing, and am continually trying develop both abilities. You should come back if you want to read/hear/look at something totally different next week.
